Police seize £150k Lamborghini after driver ‘had not passed test’

A Lamborghini was seized by cops after the driver ‘had not passed their test.’

The £150,000 supercar had been travelling without a front registration plate when it was stopped by West Midlands Police.

Checks found the motorist behind the wheel of the Lamborghini Huracan was using a provisional licence and had not passed a driving test.

The luxury vehicle was seized on an exit slip road for the ring road in Coventry. While the driver was reported to authorities, police added.

Taking to Twitter, Coventry city centre police made a tongue-in-cheek post about the incident.

It wrote: “Note to self – when you drive a super car in #coventry without a front number plate, make sure you have passed a driving test and not using a provisional licence. Seized and driver reported.”

Social media users commented under the post.

One wrote: “If the driver is reading this…. you’re a muppet of the highest order….”
